About

Sacha Post is a writer and wilderness guide. Through Nature of Wonder he helps people live and work in the rhythm of the seasons.

My name is Sacha Post. I am a writer and wilderness guide, and the founder of Nature of Wonder.

After a research master’s in cultural analysis I travelled for years, lived in ecological communities, and spent long periods in remote wilderness. In those years I immersed myself in the rituals, traditions, and practices through which people attune their lives to place, community, and season, and I learned first-hand what it means to receive from the landscape itself.

Since 2018 I have guided seasonal retreats, pilgrimages, rewilding journeys, monthly gatherings, lectures, and workshops through Nature of Wonder, in the forests of Brabant and the Veluwe. Alongside that I write a weekly letter and a longer monthly essay about living and working in the rhythm of the seasons.

The heart of all this work is the same: the living world has its times of emergence, growth, ripening, harvest, and rest, and a human life moves through those same phases. Much of the exhaustion and scatteredness of our time comes from ignoring that measure. When you learn to listen again to what the season shows, within and without, you can choose with more attention: what asks for devotion now, what may ripen, what may be completed, and what deserves rest.

Would you like to get to know the work? The weekly letter is the best place to begin. The agenda lists upcoming retreats, pilgrimages, and gatherings, and as a member you carry the work and receive the longer essays.
